Varicose Veins Treatment in Miami, FL

VenClose ™ procedure uses thermal energy to heat and close varicose veins. During the VenaSealTM  closure system procedure, a catheter is inserted into the affected vein, which heats the vein wall, causing it to collapse, shrink, and eventually disappear. This technique takes less than 30 minutes to perform, and we do it in the comfort of our office. This treatment causes less pain and bruising than alternative treatments.

For large, bulging varicose veins, we may perform ambulatory phlebectomy. During this procedure, you receive a local anesthetic, and we remove the leg veins through tiny, slit-like incisions in the skin.

Many of our patients, men and women alike, come to us for ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy vein treatments that reduce the appearance of spider veins and smaller varicose veins. Sclerotherapy uses tiny injections of a medication to treat problem veins, and we often use ultrasounds to help us place the injections. The medication causes the veins to shrink and eventually dissolve after multiple treatments.
